Financial Analyst – Full Time

The Financial Analyst will support the Director, Finance and Manager, Finance to ensure the integrity of the financial statements and management reporting. The incumbent will assist the Finance Department with the costing function, financial statement preparation and various analyses.
Duties & Responsibilities (may include the following but are not limited to):
Financial Reporting and Analysis – Financial Statements Preparation, Cost and General Ledger Analysis, Revenue Analysis, Capital Expenditure and KPI Reporting, Production Costs and Process Analysis, Maintenance and reconciliation of inventory records
Forecasting and Budgeting – Budget Preparation and monthly forecasts
Month-End and Year-End close procedures – Perform month-end and year-end close procedures
Maintaining standards for sites
Providing financial support to various departments and team members – assist with financial presentations, provide financial support for Site Director and Finance Manager and various departments and team members
Other duties as required
Qualifications:
Completion of a Bachelors Degree in Business or Finance preferred
Actively pursuing Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Certified General Accountant (CGA) or Masters of Business Administration (MBA)
Minimum 5 years Accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
Superior computer skills (Microsoft and Excel)
Excellent communication and interaction skills
Proficient use of the English language
