Work in this role includes
• providing application and technical support to business areas through normal and emergency
service requests,
• preparing estimate documents (impact analysis, risk assessment, solution alternatives,
unit/system testing, implementation plan, etc.) for Application service requests;
• confirming/refining business requirements definitions,
• performing analysis and modeling of business processes and data requirements for application
support, maintenance, or development activities,
• designing, developing, enhancing, testing, and implementing Application code,
• developing and maintaining system documentation including, but not limited to inline
code documentation, Application operations manual, and Application maintenance manuals,
• performing quality assurance,
• effectively communicating in all forms in support of Application responsibilities,
Mandatory Skills and Experience Requirements *
• 2-3 years PowerBuilder experience in an application support or developer role.
• Experience with Oracle database structures
• Experience working in a team environment, self initiative, ability to multitask and work with minimal supervision.
Desirable Skills and Experience Requirements *
• Oracle Forms, Java, JSP, Websphere, PL/SQL
• ESRI or GIS experience
• DB2 database experience
• Experience in a structured environment applying one or more methodology
