Responsibilities

This position will be accountable for a full range of HR and talent development initiatives that support the overall business strategy and enable us to deliver outstanding service to our internal clients. Key responsibilities include:
 

.Providing support to the HR team in day-to-day operational activities;

.Acting as first point of contact for a broad variety of employee enquiries;

.Managing special projects including value-added Human Resources tools and systems rollouts;

.Completing regular reporting metrics and analysis;

.Facilitating employee orientation and onboarding processes;

.Providing training support to employees in the use of new systems and processes;

.Partnering with managers and employees to provide human resources expertise and advice on specific best practices and policies;

.Liaising with Shared Services HR on payroll, benefits and compensation related matters;

.Consolidation of compensation information and participation in completing compensation;

.Supporting Aon Consulting’s mandate to attract, retain and motivate top talent by managing programs in: employee development and performance management;

 

Qualifications and Experience

.Minimum five years of HR experience, with a broad experience base in several facets of human resources, e.g. employee relations, training and development, employment law, compensation;

.Excellent interpersonal and client service skills;

.Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills coupled with good business acumen;

.Highly motivated and energetic, with the ability to take responsibility for initiatives and produce results in a deadline driven environment;

.Excellent verbal and written communication skills in order to work with and present to all levels within the organization;

.University degree required; CHRP is an asset;

.Excellent computer skills, including strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
