PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
Plans material flow to and from the line operations
Managers the daily distribution of work for line operators on the line
Monitors line operators to insure strict adherence to Packaging Work Order (PWO) instructions and SOP’s
Documents all batch requirements in a timely and accurate manner
Trouble shoot line problems and source appropriate action if required (ie: clear jams, change rolls)
Performs line start up (greenline)
Verify in-process and AQL checks
Manages employee relations issues on line
Monitor employee development and provide feedback to management
Assist in reconciliation at end of line run
Assist in investigation of Quality Deviation Reports (QDR) and Quality Incident Reports (QIR)
Back up to Sr. Line Operators and to Packaging Supervisor
Other duties as assigned
SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Minimum of 3 years of pharmaceutical, food or cosmetic- packaging and machine operating experience required.
Must possess excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
Ability to effectively complete tasks with minimal supervision.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Demonstrated ability to function effectively in a fast paced team environment
Proficiency in the English language
