We currently have an exciting direct placement opportunity for an Engineering Consultant in a Burlington area Elevator Consulting company.
Salary is commensurate with experience and a generous profit sharing program is available to the appropriate candidate
Responsibilities and potential growth opportunities:
. Meet with clients to plan the elevator portion of new building construction and elevator modernizations
. Visit construction and modernization sites to assess elevator construction progress
. Perform elevator inspections
. Assess technical aspects of elevator projects
. Produce reports and technical information related to the above
. Will need to be self-sufficient on a day-to-day basis with some support from the head office location
. Any additional staff will be added under the management of the consultant
Education and experience required:
. The ideal candidate will have a technical background including a P.Eng status
. It is mandatory that the successful candidate have experience in the elevator industry.
. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
. Highly computer literate and ability to meet potential clients and sell the benefits of the elevator consulting organization.
. Some travel will be required for training and consulting purposes
