<p>Position Purpose:<br />
To provide administrative support to all equity professionals on the Sales desk.</p>
<p><strong>Key Accountabilities:</strong><br />
• Screen client phone calls (40 lines)<br />
• Book/organize daily appointments<br />
• Arrange conference calls<br />
• Schedule luncheons<br />
• Assist with preparation and coordination of marketing itineraries<br />
• Assist with marketing events<br />
• Manage one on one meetings during conferences<br />
• Provide clients with research reports, website access, marketing information on request<br />
• Maintain marketing and client data in RBC Impact <br />
• Liase with internal service providers and external vendors (hotels, couriers, catering)<br />
• Book flight, car services and hotel accommodation as required<br />
• File business and travel expenses in accordance with policy</p>
<p><strong>Job Requirements: (Knowledge/ Experience):<br />
</strong>• Successful completion of a minimum of first year of a business/finance/marketing or related degree <br />
• Basic market knowledge and a demonstrated keen interest in capital markets<br />
• Marketing and/or conference planning experience an asset<br />
• CSC an asset<br />
• Working knowledge of a Client Relationship Management application an asset<br />
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook<br />
• Excellent communication skills, demonstrated organization skills, problem-solving skills, business sense and the ability to multi-task and prioritize in high pressure environments<br />

We have an opportunity for a senior level Administrative Assistant with strong multi-tasking, interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills to provide administrative, operational and project related assistance. This position will be ideal for an individual who takes pride in keeping the team well organized, running smoothly and to be able to &#8220;think ahead&#8221; in providing requirements for this engineering team. As the successful candidate, your responsibilities will include:</p>
<p>.Liaising with other staff members and assisting with project administration (project correspondence, meeting minutes, schedules, maintaining database lists and confidential documentation)<br />
.Managing the preparation and processing of correspondence, reports, forms and templates<br />
.Coordinating the completion of proposals and business development initiatives<br />
.Organizing and maintaining files<br />
.Archiving of documentation as required<br />
.Travel arrangements, expense claims, project related systems management</p>
<p><strong>Qualifications: </strong><br />
You are an effective &#8220;team player&#8221;, who has demonstrated ability to work with little or no supervision, and possess qualities of maturity, judgment and discretion. Must possess excellent time management skills and be able to prioritize to meet tight deadlines. You are a proficient user of MS Office applications and presentation support tools, specifically Explorer, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Experience with MS Project and/or Prolog are assets. You demonstrate the ability to learn and adapt to programs and processes quickly. Your strong writing skills, including proofreading skills and typing accuracy are a must in your preparation of documentation and proposals. As a self-motivated individual, you excel at working independently and also enjoy a team environment.</p>

. Monitor driver performance<br />
. Assist with the development of the required driver skills i.e., customs, Hazmat, hours of service, policy, regulations, satellites, etc.<br />

<p>This is a continuing position.</p>
<p><strong>Your Challenge<br />
</strong>Reporting to the Director General in the Institute for Research in Construction, the successful candidate’s primary function will be to provide administrative assistance to the Officers in the Director General’s office (DGO), and work with the Director General’s Administrative Assistant to ensure smooth operation of the Office.</p>
<p><strong>Screening Criteria</strong><br />
Applicants must demonstrate within the content of their application that they meet the following screening criteria in order to be given further consideration as candidates:</p>
<p><strong>Education<br />
</strong>Successful completion of secondary school according to provincial standards.</p>
<p><strong>Experience</strong><br />
Experience in providing administrative support services in a business environment.</p>
<p>Experience in Ms Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point.<br />

Reliability Status</p>

<p><strong>Language Requirements<br />
</strong>Bilingual imperative CBC/CBC</p>

</strong>Relocation assistance will be determined in accordance with NRC&#8217;s directives.</p>

</strong>From $34,768 to $46,096 per annum plus the Bilingualism Bonus of $800 a year.</p>
