<strong> </strong>Our client commits itself daily to respond effectively to the needs of biologists all over the world by offering a wide range of products and services, resulting from its ground-breaking skills and know-how in the design of haemostasis systems (reagents, instruments and accessories).<br />
Summary: Plans and coordinates activities concerned with installing instrumentation, investigating and resolving customer reports of problems with instruments, and minimize future operational or service difficulties by performing the following duties.<br />
<strong>Job Duties:<br />
</strong>. Installs new or refurbished instruments at customer&#8217;s facility, sales demos, product shows, etc, to ensure full functionality according to the companie&#8217;s specifications.<br />
. Reviews performance reports and documentation from customers and field representatives, and inspects malfunctioning or damaged instrumentation to determine nature and scope of problem.<br />
. Analyzes review and inspection findings to determine source of problem, and performs repair, replacement, or other corrective action.<br />
. Coordinates problem resolution within Field Support Group &amp; other personnel to expedite repairs.<br />
. Documents and records information to be included in the repair records in accordance with company policies and regulatory agencies.<br />
. Provides a communication link between the customer and the company to help ensure that effective service is provided to the customer.<br />
. Demonstrates proper operation of company instrumentation to end users.<br />
. Conducts basic on-site in-service training of proper operation of company instrumentation.<br />
. Adheres to all company policies and procedures.<br />
. Timely completion of preventative maintenance procedures.<br />
. Provides secondary applications troubleshooting as required.<br />
. Supports Sales and Marketing departments.<br />
. Responsible for effective management of company resources.<br />
<strong>Skills:</strong><br />
. Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner<br />
. Manages difficult or emotional customer situations<br />
. Strong PC skills, including knowledge of database &amp; internet software; Windows NT and DOS</p>
<p><strong>Skills and qualifications :</strong></p>
<p>. Experience working with Blood Analysis Medical Equipment<br />
. Excellent verbal and written English<br />
. Associate&#8217;s degree or equivalent from two-year college or a certificate from a Technical/Military School in a related field preferred<br />
. Minimum two years experience repairing biomedical instrumentation<br />
. Valid driver&#8217;s license<br />
. Ability to travel outside of designated territory and up to 50% overnight travel dependent upon territory; occasional weekend/holiday on-call coverage</p>

<p>POSITION OUTCOMES<br />
.Ensure that<br />
the plant is in a hygienic state for start up every evening.<br />
HACCP, CFIA, company policies, sanitation, safety and WHMIS standards and documentation requirements are met.<br />
budgets are developed and adhered to adequately.<br />
the Sanitation Department continuously progresses with changes in procedures and technologies.<br />
.Utilize outside resources (cleaning chemicals supplier, Pest control services supplier, etc.)<br />
.Participate in all audits performed by the Manager of Corporate Sanitation Programs (Larry Mendes) and ensure that issues identified are corrected on a timely manner.<br />
.Attend the Food safety team meetings held every month.<br />
.Hold sanitation employee safety meetings every month.</p>
<p>REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:<br />
.Proficient in MS Office tools (Excel and Word).<br />
.Mechanically inclined.<br />
.Knowledge of cleaning systems (CIP, COP) and chemicals.<br />
.Knowledge of H.A.C.C.P., GMP&#8217;s, WHMIS, First Aid, Health and Safety Regulations, and all of their applicable requisites.<br />
.Strong people and interpersonal skills<br />
.Strong time management skills and application of project management principles.<br />
