<strong>Position Description:<br />
</strong>Associated Engineering is an employee-owned Canadian company providing consulting engineering services in the transportation, infrastructure, environmental and water sectors.</p>
<p>We are currently searching for a Mechanical Engineer for our Regina, SK office.  You will be involved in studies, reports, assessments, preliminary and detailed design, preparation of specifications, development of cost estimates, and inspection of building and process mechanical systems.  Typical projects include industrial, commercial, and municipal buildings, water and wastewater treatment plants, pump stations, piping and conveying systems.<br />

<strong>Requirements:<br />
Candidates should have the following qualifications</strong></p>
<p>.Undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university<br />
.Minimum 4 years experience<br />
.Eligibility for professional registration with APEGS<br />
.Knowledge of applicable codes and standards, such as National Plumbing Code, ASHRAE and NFPA Standard<br />
.Experience in designing and preparing tender documents for building mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing and fire prevention systems, piping and conveying systems<br />
.Experience on industrial, commercial, and municipal projects<br />
.Experience in water/wastewater facilities, pump stations, and process piping design is an asset<br />
.Field experience in construction, start-up and commissioning of mechanical systems is an asset<br />
.Familiarity with sustainable design practices; LEED accreditation is an asset<br />
.Knowledge of electrical and structural systems are an asset<br />
.Excellent command of English language, both written and spoken<br />
.Strong communication and organizational skills; able to manage multiple priorities<br />
.A committed team player.<br />

Our client a leader in their industry, has several opportunities for JUNIOR Mechanical Engineer&#8217;s. who will be able to provide technical support and assistance of equipment in a plant setting.</p>
<p>This is a global company located in the GTA. We are looking for applicants with experience in a paper mill. In this particular role, you shall work in a division that takes product and &#8220;shapes it&#8221; to it&#8217;s final form to then be packaged off.</p>
<p>We are looking at individuals who excel in a team enviornment and work best with others AND have PAPER MILL EXPERIENCE.</p>

<p><strong>OVERVIEW<br />
</strong>The Specialist will work closely with engineering design groups on reliability aspects of new product introduction and with manufacturing for continued product assurance</p>

<p>The Reliability Specialist is a key component of this team, by providing in-depth knowledge and practical application of reliability techniques that help prevent, remove or reduce the risk of field failure</p>
<p>This spans analysis of conceptual and early prototype design, developmental testing, product qualification and in-service monitoring</p>
<p>The successful candidate will develop research and development of innovative methods to achieve continuous improvement in reliability analysis and testing</p>
<p>Such analysis and testing will encompass mechanical, electronic and RF, (Radio Frequency) features</p>
<p>The incumbent will develop and apply statistical methods for the design of experiments and the analysis of test and in-service data, and will write clear reports and make recommendations based on this analysis<br />
 <br />
<strong>REQUIREMENTS<br />
</strong>Minimum Master&#8217;s degree or equivalent</p>
<p>FMEA, (Failure Mode &amp; Effect Analysis)</p>
<p>Proficiency and theoretical knowledge in reliability analysis methods, POF, (Physics of Failure), and experience with reliability and safety software</p>
<p>Proficiency and theoretical knowledge of reliability life testing procedures and use of test equipment for vibration, shock, and thermal cycling</p>
<p>Proficiency and theoretical knowledge of data analysis and data analysis software</p>
<p>Good knowledge of mechanical and electrical properties of materials and electronic assemblies</p>
<p>Excellent communication skills, both written and oral; excellent analytical and presentation skills<br />
