Reporting to the Grocery Manager, you will be responsible for ordering merchandise and replenishing displays.

The ideal candidate will have strong and accurate reading skills to sort product codes.  Working in a dynamic environment, you will have the opportunity to participate in numerous areas of retail.  An eye for detail and the ability to work independently with little or no supervision will ensure success in this role.

Job Description

Reporting to the Store Manager, you will plan, organize and oversee the delivery of outstanding products and services.  You will ensure that daily sales targets are achieved while providing outstanding service to our customers.  You will also manager all merchandising and advertising for the seafood department.

As a team leader, you will utilize your excellent communication and organizational skills to implement employee training programs while ensure departmental health and safety policies and practices are followed.

Job Description
Key responsibilities of a Shoppers Drug Mart Merchandiser/Receiver include:

. Merchandises and provides superior customer service.
. Maintains efficient flow of merchandise from the receiving door to the sales floor.
. Receives merchandise from DC and local deliveries and ensures proper documentation of the receiving and return of goods.

. Inventory experience and advanced skill in MMS.
. Previous retail experience dealing with expiry dates and product displays.
. An ability to operate a cash register when required.
